In November 2018, British supermodel Naomi Campbell visited Lagos, Nigeria, where she met with Mavin Records’ founder, Don Jazzy. Don Jazzy expressed his excitement about the encounter, admitting he was star-struck and sharing a photo with the caption:

“I had to put on my sexiest eyes lol. Let me not lie I was star struck o. Night out in Lagos with Queen @naomi.”

During her visit, Campbell attended a private event hosted by artist Kehinde Wiley and journalist Lola Ogunnaike, which was attended by notable figures in the Nigerian fashion industry, including Don Jazzy and designer Lanre DaSilva Ajayi.

Naomi Campbell has shown consistent support for Nigerian creatives. She participated in Arise Fashion Week in Lagos, walking the runway for local designers, and has been involved in initiatives aimed at promoting African talent globally.

These interactions highlight the growing connections between international figures like Campbell and the Nigerian entertainment and fashion industries.
