Here are some standout Black-owned toilet paper brands—each combining purpose with impact:

Black-Owned Toilet Paper Brands to Support

1. Leafy

Founded by Marvin Green, D’Andre Martin, and Charles Peaks in Columbus, Ohio, Leafy offers 100% bamboo toilet paper—an eco-conscious alternative to conventional options. Their biodegradable packaging and strong environmental commitments help protect the planet. They also donate to local environmental and community initiatives—making it a brand that’s both sustainable and socially engaged.

2. Lor Tush

Baltimore-based sisters Nnadagi and Louise Isa launched Lor Tush during the pandemic. Made from bamboo, their hypoallergenic toilet paper is chemical-free, septic-safe, and “feels like luxury paper.” The sisters have donated thousands of rolls to vulnerable members of their community and are working toward bringing production to Baltimore.

3. Reel Paper

Part of a movement toward sustainable, bamboo-based hygiene, Reel Paper is a Black-owned brand that offers compostable and planet-friendly toilet paper. This brand helps reduce household waste with more environmentally conscious materials.

  • Representation in sustainable consumer goods: These are Black entrepreneurs in a niche often dominated by large corporations.
