There are no major motorcycle manufacturing companies based in Saint Kitts and Nevis, but the islands do have motorbike dealerships and importers that sell popular international motorcycle brands.

Here’s a helpful guide:

Popular Motorbike Brands in Saint Kitts and Nevis (via dealerships/importers):

These bikes are usually imported from the U.S., Japan, or Europe:

Commonly Available Brands:

  • Honda
  • Yamaha
  • Suzuki
  • Kawasaki
  • Bajaj (affordable and fuel-efficient, often imported from India)
  • TVS Motors (also from India, popular for delivery bikes)
  • Harley-Davidson (rare, usually owned by enthusiasts or imported privately)

Local Dealers & Importers (Examples)

While Saint Kitts and Nevis is small, several auto and bike dealerships exist. Examples include:

  • TDC Automotive Division (St. Kitts) – May sell motorcycles and scooters or import them upon request.
  • Hazel’s Auto Supplies (St. Kitts) – May deal in bike parts and light motorcycles.
  • Independent importers – Some people bring in motorcycles privately or through small dealerships.

⚠️ Note: There are no official national motorcycle factories in the federation. All bikes are imported, often on a per-order basis.

Types of Motorbikes in Use:

  • Scooters and mopeds (popular for personal and delivery use)
  • 125cc–250cc street bikes
  • Dual-purpose and dirt bikes (used on hilly terrain or rural areas)
  • Cruisers and touring bikes (less common, owned by hobbyists)

Motorbike Use & Regulation

  • You must have a valid motorcycle license to ride.
  • All motorbikes must be registered with the local traffic department.
  • Helmets are mandatory by law.
  • Importing a motorbike involves customs duties and taxes.
