Miss World Nigeria 2026, Tamunosoye Karibi-George, has emerged as Africa’s Top Model at the ongoing Miss World competition in Vietnam.Karibi-George impressed during the Top Model competition, where she competed against representatives from other African countries, including Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Kenya and South Africa, to claim the continental title.

Her victory comes with an even bigger reward, she has automatically secured a place in the Top 40 quarter-finals of Miss World 2026. She will now continue her journey as Nigeria’s representative at the global competition, with the grand finale scheduled for September 5 in Vietnam. The 26-year-old from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was crowned Miss World Nigeria in June after emerging from a field of 20 contestants. Beyond pageantry, she is also known for her advocacy work through Beyond Labels, an initiative focused on inclusion and opportunities for children with disabilities and special needs.
