As of April 2025, Apple dominates the smartphone market in The Bahamas, commanding an overwhelming 90.8% share. Samsung follows with 6.7%, while other brands like TCL, Nokia, and Google collectively account for less than 1% .

This preference for Apple devices aligns with the country’s high smartphone penetration rate; as of 2022, 98% of Bahamians owned a smartphone or tablet, with many possessing multiple devices .

While specific data on the most popular phone models in The Bahamas isn’t readily available, global trends suggest that Apple’s latest offerings, such as the iPhone 16 series, are likely prevalent. Samsung’s Galaxy S and A series may also have a presence among the minority of non-Apple users.

Among these options:

  • Apple iPhone 15: Apple’s latest model, offering advanced features and seamless integration with the iOS ecosystem.
  • Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max: A previous flagship model known for its robust performance and camera capabilities.
  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Samsung’s premium offering, featuring top-tier specifications and Android flexibility.
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G: An earlier model still favored for its high-end features and 5G support.
  • Google Pixel 9: Known for its clean Android experience and exceptional camera performance.
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G: A budget-friendly option offering impressive features for its price point.

When choosing a smartphone in The Bahamas, consider factors such as brand ecosystem, device features, and budget to select the best fit for your needs.
