Here are some sleek and stylish shots of Cécred, Beyoncé’s highly anticipated luxury hair care line—showing elegant packaging and glimpses of the star behind the brand.

About Cécred

Cécred (pronounced “sacred”) is Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s first-ever hair care brand, officially launched in February 2024 after six years of development. She founded and chairs the brand, with her mother, Tina Knowles, serving as vice chairperson alongside stylist Neal Farinah and trichologist Dr. Kari Williams at the helm of educational programming.

The Foundation Collection

This debut line includes eight essentials designed for all hair types:

  • Clarifying Shampoo & Scalp Scrub
  • Hydrating Shampoo
  • Moisturizing Deep Conditioner
  • Reconstructing Treatment Mask
  • Fermented Rice & Rose Protein Ritual
  • Moisture Sealing Lotion
  • Nourishing Hair Oil
  • Ritual Shaking Vessel

Formulated with self-funded, patent-pending Bioactive Keratin Ferment, the collection features wool-derived keratin, honey, and probiotic lactobacillus—designed to restore and strengthen hair at the molecular level.

Vision & Inspiration

Beyoncé has emphasized her desire to honor her roots—her experience growing up in her mother’s Houston salon—and to elevate hair care culturally and scientifically. She highlighted the need for innovation for textured hair, striving to create a line that’s inclusive, high-performance, and grounded in cultural rituals.

Community Impact & Giving Back

Cécred partnered with BeyGOOD to create a $500,000 annual fund offering cosmetology scholarships and salon business grants across Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and New Jersey—reflecting Beyoncé’s commitment to education and empowering beauty professionals.

Expansion and Performance

  • Ulta Beauty Exclusive: As of April 6, 2025, Cécred became an exclusive launch at all 1,400 Ulta Beauty locations—marking Ulta’s largest hair brand launch ever.
  • Rapid Growth: Within six months, the brand amassed 2 million paying customers, and its products earned over 30 major beauty awards, ranking top-tier in performance and innovation.
  • Latest Release – Protection Collection: In August 2025, Cécred introduced a five-product “Protection Collection” tailored for wigs, braids, and extensions. It includes Detoxifying Shampoo, Scalp Refresh Spray, Oil Ritual, Detangling Spray, and Hair & Scalp Balm—featuring a new PhytoFerment blend to nourish and soothe the scalp.
