Alhaji Kamorudeen Yusuf, Personal Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Special Duties, has been recognised with multiple honours for his contributions to education and community development, receiving three awards across two major events held in Lagos and Abuja on Friday
The honours highlighted his efforts in expanding access to education and improving learning conditions, particularly through interventions in rural communities in Ogun State.The awards were received on his behalf by members of the Alliance for Kamosky group, led by Mr. Seye Edun, at the ceremony held at Muson Centre, Onikan. Speaking during the presentations, the founder and CEO of CSR Reporters, Eche Munonye, commended Yusuf’s commitment to empowerment initiatives, stressing that his organisation recognised the impact of his work. “We acknowledge his initiatives, and this is to let him know that we appreciate him,” Munonye said while handing the plaque to Mr. Waheed Gbadamosi, who represented the awardee.Other members of the Alliance for Kamosky present at the event included Yakub Yusuf, Oba Danjuma, Akinbayo Wahab, Taiwo Rihanat and Bashiri Junior.In a separate ceremony in Abuja, Yusuf was named West African Young Leader of the Year at the 8th West African Leadership Summit and Award. Presented by the West African Leadership and Empowerment Centre, the honour recognised his contributions to public service, regional development and youth-driven leadership across West Africa.The organisation praised Yusuf’s strategic leadership and commitment to inclusive governance, noting that his work continues to inspire emerging leaders in the region.
Yusuf has been widely acknowledged for initiatives undertaken through the Alliance for Kamosky Group, including a recent back-to-school programme that distributed school bags and writing materials to over 10,000 pupils across all 20 local government areas in Ogun State.
