Major Airports in the Former Netherlands Antilles

The Netherlands Antilles was a former Caribbean country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It was dissolved in October 2010, and its territories were reorganized as separate entities. However, the airports from the former Netherlands Antilles are still operational and located across several Caribbean islands.

Major Airports in the Former Netherlands Antilles

1. Curaçao

  • Hato International Airport (CUR) – Curaçao International Airport
    • Location: Willemstad, Curaçao
    • ICAO: TNCC
    • Notes: Largest and busiest airport in the former Netherlands Antilles.

2. Sint Maarten (Dutch side)

  • Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM)
    • Location: Philipsburg, Sint Maarten
    • ICAO: TNCM
    • Notes: Famous for low-altitude flyovers above Maho Beach.

3. Bonaire

  • Flamingo International Airport (BON)
    • Location: Kralendijk, Bonaire
    • ICAO: TNCB
    • Notes: Services both domestic and international flights.

4. Saba

  • Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport (SAB)
    • Location: Saba
    • ICAO: TNCS
    • Notes: Has the shortest commercial runway in the world (400 meters).

5. Sint Eustatius

  • F.D. Roosevelt Airport (EUX)
    • Location: Oranjestad, Sint Eustatius
    • ICAO: TNCE
    • Notes: Small regional airport.
