The Consulate of Grenada in Nigeria has announced visa-free entry for Nigerians to strengthen trade, tourism and investment ties between both countries.Grenada’s Consul to Nigeria, Ambassador Abidemi Sonoiki, disclosed this during a media briefing in Lagos, noting that the Caribbean nation is awaiting Nigeria’s reciprocal response.He said the policy would ease business travel, tourism and educational exchanges, while discussions are ongoing to establish direct flights between Nigeria and Grenada within six months.

Sonoiki described improved connectivity as key to unlocking economic opportunities, positioning Grenada as a gateway to the Caribbean market and Nigeria as a hub for Africa.He added that sectors such as tourism, agriculture, real estate, fintech, and healthcare offer strong investment prospects and encouraged Nigerians to explore opportunities in the country.
