Guyana has a few key stadiums and sports complexes that host cricket, football (soccer), athletics, and other major events. Here’s an overview of the most notable stadiums in the country:


Major Stadiums in Guyana

1. Providence Stadium (Guyana National Stadium)

  • Location: Providence, East Bank Demerara (near Georgetown)
  • Capacity: ~15,000
  • Primary Use: Cricket

    • Built for the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup
    • Hosts international cricket matches (ODIs, T20Is, CPL)
