Davonne Reaves is a trailblazer in the hospitality industry, recognized for her significant contributions to hotel ownership and investment. She began her career at the front desk of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta and, through dedication and strategic vision, transitioned into hotel ownership. In 2021, she made history by becoming one of the youngest Black women to co-own a property in a major hotel chain.
Reaves is the founder of The Vonne Group, a hospitality firm based in Atlanta, where she serves as Chief Hospitality Strategist. The company focuses on educating individuals, particularly from underrepresented communities, on hotel ownership and investment. Through their signature program, “Roadmap to Hotel Ownership,” The Vonne Group has guided over 3,000 people toward hotel ownership and diverse markets.
In 2022, Reaves launched Vesterr.com, a commercial real estate crowdfunding platform designed to simplify the process of investing in commercial real estate, including hotels. The platform aims to make hotel ownership accessible to a broader audience by lowering the barriers to entry.
