Dakota White, a young athlete from Dallas, Texas, gained national recognition at the age of seven for her exceptional speed on the track. In August 2022, she and her teammates from Fort Worth’s Xpress Track Club set a new national record in the girls’ 8 and under 100-meter relay at the AAU Junior Olympics, completing the race in 59.08 seconds.
Dakota’s journey in track and field began at the tender age of three under the guidance of her father, Cam White, a former wide receiver for Texas Christian University. Recognizing her natural talent and form early on, Cam nurtured her abilities, leading to her dominance in competitions by the age of six.
Her dedication to training is evident in her personal motto, “No Days Off,” which she upheld even during the sweltering Texas summers. This unwavering commitment has resulted in numerous medals and accolades, all proudly displayed in her room alongside images of her idol, Sha’Carri Richardson, another track star hailing from North Texas.
