Ulysses Lee “Junior” Bridgeman is a former NBA player who transitioned into an incredibly successful business career.

NBA Career:

Bridgeman played in the NBA from 1975 to 1987, primarily for the Milwaukee Bucks and later for the Los Angeles Clippers. Though he was not a superstar, he was known for his consistency, leadership, and strong performance as a sixth man off the bench.

Business Success:

After retiring from basketball, Bridgeman made a strategic move into business. He started by investing in fast-food franchises, particularly Wendy’s and Chili’s. At one point, he owned over 450 Wendy’s and more than 120 Chili’s locations, making him one of the largest restaurant franchisees in the U.S.

Current Ventures:

  • He sold his fast-food empire and later purchased EBONY and Jet magazines in 2020.
  • Bridgeman is now the CEO of Bridgeman Hospitality Group, expanding his business portfolio into beverage distribution, food services, and media.

Net Worth & Legacy:

Bridgeman has built an estimated net worth of over $600 million, making him one of the wealthiest former athletes in the world. His story is a powerful example of smart financial planning and entrepreneurship after sports.
