Despite the challenges it faces, Africa has made significant strides in various sectors, including agriculture, technology, healthcare, education, energy, and infrastructure. This position paper aims to showcase Africa’s best practices in these sectors, highlighting the continent’s potential for sustainable development.
Agriculture
We recognize the importance of agriculture in Africa’s economy and the need to empower smallholder farmers. Best practices such as:
- Kenya’s Smallholder Farmers’ Empowerment program, which provides access to markets, finance, and technology
- Ghana’s Planting for Food and Jobs program, which aims to increase food production and create jobs for young people
