South African pop star Tyla has been revealed as the cover of the March 2025 edition of British Vogue – and also cooked them some pap and wors.
The Johannesburg singer wore a pink Balenciaga bustier on the cover, photographed by Rafael Pavarotti.
British Vogue’s Head of Editorial Content, Chioma Nnadi, wrote that Tyla “represents a refreshing new direction in music.” They hailed her as not just a music star but also a fashion icon.
Tyla also appeared in a cooking video for Vogue, making pap and chutney with boerewors. She started off by making a margarita but admitted it was her first time doing so.
