In 2018, at the age of 15, Ishmale Powell graduated from Page High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, achieving an impressive 4.5 GPA. He was the youngest graduate in Guilford County Schools’ class of 2018.

His academic excellence allowed him to skip two grades and take high school courses while still in middle school.

That fall, Powell enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, majoring in computer engineering and minoring in aerospace engineering, with aspirations of becoming an astrophysicist.

To support his educational journey, he initiated a GoFundMe campaign to address financial challenges, as he had not received significant scholarship funding at that time.

As of March 2025, Powell would be approximately 22 years old. However, there is limited publicly available information regarding his recent activities or current status.
