Governor Okpebholo Begins Second Flyover Construction In Benin

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has commenced the construction of the second flyover bridge in Benin City.The governor described the move as part of his administration’s urban renewal and traffic decongestion plan for the Edo South Senatorial District.AdvertisementThe project, located at the Adesuwa–Sapele Road intersection, according to the state government, is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity within the metropolis.In a statement on Friday, the government urged residents, motorists, and other road users to cooperate with contractors and government officials on site.“Construction work has commenced on the second flyover project at Adesuwa Road Junction, along Sapele Road, Benin City.Residents, motorists and other road users are kindly advised to cooperate with contractors and adhere to traffic diversion instructions,” the statement read.The government reaffirmed its commitment to executing infrastructural projects that will enhance economic activities, create jobs, and improve the overall quality of life for Edo residents.
