Pamela Maynard is the first ever Chief AI Transformation Officer, MCAPS, at Microsoft. From her early leadership roles at Capgemini to an impressive tenure at Avanade, Pamela is a trailblazer in the tech industry. Honoured as BBBA’s Black British Business Person of the Year 2024 and Everywoman Woman of the Year, Pamela is passionate about closing the digital divide and an advocate for diversity and inclusivity in tech.  

Pamela Maynard is a trailblazer in technology and leadership whose career spans over two decades of transformative achievements. The first ever Chief AI Transformation Officer for Customer and Partner Solutions at Microsoft, Pamela has a visionary approach that has consistently turned challenges into opportunities. With a passionate commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability, Pamela was celebrated as BBBA’s Black British Business Person of the Year 2024, a testament to her pioneering impact on the industry. Pamela is now a passionate and inspiring speaker who recently spoke at London Tech Week.

From the outset of her career, Pamela demonstrated exceptional leadership and visionary insight. Beginning as Vice President at Capgemini in 2001, she rapidly ascended the corporate ladder. Her journey continued at Avanade, where she served as Area President for Europe, Africa, and Latin America in 2008, and later held the role of President of Product and Innovation in 2017. These formative experiences laid the foundation for her future success and reinforced her reputation as a trailblazer in the tech industry.

More recently, Pamela has reached unprecedented milestones in her illustrious career. In 2024, she was honoured as CEO Emeritus of Avanade before assuming the role of Chief AI Transformation Officer, MCAPS at Microsoft. Named Stevie Awards Female Executive of the Year and Everywoman Woman of the Year, Pamela is reshaping digital strategies.

In addition to her formidable career accomplishments, Pamela is deeply committed to creating organisations where employee well-being and responsible sustainability are paramount. She believes that inclusion, diversity, and belonging are not merely principles, but essential drivers of innovation. Passionate about leveraging technology to empower non-profit missions and close the digital divide, she consistently champions bold thinking and growth mindsets.
