As of April 2025, the Prime Minister of Tunisia is Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri. She was appointed on March 21, 2025, by President Kais Saied, succeeding Kamel Madouri, who was dismissed amid ongoing economic and political challenges

Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, aged 62, previously served as Tunisia’s Minister of Equipment and Housing. Her appointment marks her as the second woman to hold the position of Prime Minister in Tunisia, following Najla Bouden, who served from October 2021 to August 2023

In her inaugural cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Zaafrani emphasized priorities such as economic reforms, improving living standards, and accelerating strategic projects to address the country’s pressing issues
