Andrea Dalzell is a prominent disability rights advocate, nurse, and public speaker. Known as “The Seated Nurse,” she has made significant contributions to healthcare and disability inclusion. Diagnosed with transverse myelitis at age 5, she has used a wheelchair since childhood. Despite facing numerous challenges, Andrea pursued a career in nursing, becoming New York State’s first registered nurse who uses a wheelchair.
