Montserrat uses the East Caribbean dollar (XCD) as its official currency.

  • Symbol: $ or EC$
  • Pegged to US Dollar: Fixed exchange rate of 1 USD = 2.70 XCD
  • Issued by: Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), which serves Montserrat and several other members of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU).
