Basil Okpara Jr. is a young Nigerian game developer who gained recognition at the age of 9 for creating over 30 mobile games. His journey into game development began after attending a boot camp organized by Codefest International, where he learned coding, computer programming, and mobile game development. Utilizing Scratch 2, a free coding application, Basil developed several games, some of which are available for download on the Google Play Store.

Basil’s story has been featured on various platforms, including Built In Africa, which highlighted his achievements and the potential of Africa’s youth in the tech industry.

His accomplishments have also been shared on social media platforms, inspiring many and showcasing the possibilities for young individuals in technology.

Basil’s early success underscores the importance of nurturing young talent and providing opportunities for children to explore and develop their interests in technology.
