Dr. Keith and Dr. Ashley Robinson are a husband-and-wife dental team based in Maryland Heights, Missouri, where they co-own The Smile Company dental practice.
Dr. Keith Robinson grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and later obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine. He furthered his education by completing both an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (A.E.G.D) program and a Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at the same institution.
Dr. Ashley Robinson is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Xavier University of Louisiana and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Before co-founding The Smile Company, she practiced in the public health field for five years, focusing on underserved populations.
The couple met during their time at Southern Illinois University’s School of Dental Medicine and opened The Smile Company in 2015.
In addition to their dental practice, Dr. Keith Robinson serves as a Professor of Law and Faculty Director for Intellectual Property, Technology, Business, and Innovation at Wake Forest University School of Law. His expertise lies in patent law and the intersection of artificial intelligence and legal institutions.
Dr. Ashley Robinson also has a background in veterinary medicine. Born and raised in Oregon, she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University. She has practiced small animal medicine and held the position of Medical Director at a VCA hospital in Eugene, Oregon, for six years. Her interests include acupuncture, rehabilitation, and sports medicine.
