Morocco’s Neo Motors plans to begin selling the kingdom’s first homegrown electric car for about 100,000 dirhams ($10,740) next year.

Production is underway on the Dial-E, a compact city car with a top speed of about 85 kilometers (53 miles) per hour and range of 150 kilometers, Chief Executive Officer Nassim Belkhayat in a news briefing.
