Illumination Mentorship Matters: Empowering Young Minds

Unhindered mentorship of younger ones has been identified as central to actualization of their dreams.Executive Director, Passion For Peace Initiative, PPI, Ambassador George Lekan Jimoh gave this indication at the flag-off of a year Career Guide Exercise tagged “Illumination Mentorship Matters” organized by the Non Governmental Organization in collaboration with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO held at Saint Joseph Centenary School, Ilorin.Ambassador Jimoh advised the students to prioritize their future and be decisive in choosing life career.

He said the Non Governmental Organization would shoulder the responsibility of monitoring their progress to guide them aright.Ambassador Jimoh challenged the students to have destinations in their minds to determine their direction of disciplines to study in tertiary institutions.In his address of welcome, Director Administration and Logistics, PPI, Hon Adesina Ajisafe described mentorship as a beacon of hope to enable younger ones actualize their full potentials as well mentored students would perform excellently in their personal, academic engagements.

Hon Ajisafe charged the students to take advantage of the mentorship programme to be better fashions of themselves.Also, Principal, Saint Joseph Centenary School, lorin, Mrs Elizabeth Afolayan appreciated the organizers for putting in place the mentorship training and expressed satisfaction that programme would go a long way in benefitting the students.In his Goodwill Message, Deputy Director, National Orientation Agency, NOA in Kwara State, Mr. Solomon Kolo asked students to shun thuggery and other ignoble acts deterious to their future.

Mr Solomon beseeched the students to be vanguard of peace and patriotic to become responsible citizens of Country.
