As of April 2025, the Commissioner of Police for Lagos State is CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh. He assumed office as the 41st Commissioner of Police for the Lagos State Command in February 2025, succeeding CP Olanrewaju Ishola, who was redeployed to Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Prior to his appointment in Lagos, CP Jimoh served as the Commissioner of Police for Ports Authority, Eastern Ports. His redeployment to Lagos was part of a strategic move by the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, aimed at enhancing security and improving operational efficiency in the state.
CP Jimoh brings extensive experience to his role, having previously held positions such as Commissioner of Police in Bauchi State and at the Central Criminal Registry, Force Criminal Investigation Department Annex in Lagos. He is recognized for his commitment to community engagement and proactive policing strategies.
