Babatunde Raji Fashola is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who served as the Governor of Lagos State from May 29, 2007, to May 29, 2015. He was a member of the Action Congress (AC), later merging into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

    • Expanded road networks, including the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
    • Developed public transportation, improving BRT (Bus Rapid Transit).
    • Initiated the Eko Atlantic City project.
  2. Security & Law Enforcement:
    • Strengthened the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.
    • Improved policing and law enforcement.
  3. Education & Healthcare:
    • Rehabilitated schools and introduced free education policies.
    • Built several hospitals and health centers.
  4. Environmental Management:
    • Established waste management reforms through LAWMA.
    • Enforced environmental sanitation laws.

Post-Governorship Career:

  • Appointed Minister of Power, Works, and Housing (2015–2019).
  • Served as Minister of Works and Housing (2019–2023), focusing on road infrastructure across Nigeria.
