Here is the list of countries that have hosted the FIFA World Cup since its inception in 1930, along with the year they hosted:


Men’s FIFA World Cup Hosts

  1. 1930 – Uruguay
    • The inaugural World Cup, won by the host nation, Uruguay.
  2. 1934 – Italy
    • Italy hosted and also won the tournament.
  3. 1938 – France
    • The first World Cup to feature matches held in multiple cities.
  4. 1950 – Brazil
    • The first tournament after World War II, remembered for Uruguay’s dramatic win over Brazil in the final.
  5. 1954 – Switzerland
