As of the latest available information, the South Sudan women’s national football team is ranked 191st in the FIFA Women’s World Rankings. ​

Ranking History

  • Highest Ranking: 175th (achieved in December 2021)
  • Lowest Ranking: 193rd (recorded in December 2024) ​

The team, known as the Bright Starlets, has been actively participating in regional competitions such as the CECAFA Women’s Championship and the Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifiers. Despite facing challenges like limited resources and infrastructure, they have shown commendable progress and determination.​
