Minnie Riperton – The Queen of the Whistle Register

Minnie Riperton (1947–1979) was an American singer-songwriter best known for her incredible five-octave vocal range and her hit song “Lovin’ You” (1975). She was famous for her whistle register, which influenced many singers, including Mariah Carey.
