Boakye Gyamfi, at just 22 years old, has made history as Ghana’s youngest medical doctor. He graduated from the University of Cape Coast’s School of Medical Sciences on September 7, 2023. Dr. Gyamfi began his academic journey at a young age, attending Danem Royal Montessori School in Accra at just five years old. By 13, he had completed his basic education with an impressive aggregate score, then moved on to Prempeh College, where he graduated at 16.

His hard work and determination led him to the UCC School of Medical Sciences, where he successfully completed his medical program, becoming one of the youngest doctors in the country.

His journey is an inspiring testament to perseverance and excellence in the medical field.

Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi obtained his bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery (MB;BS) at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He graduated at a much younger age than the typical age of 25 or 26 for graduating from medical school.

Kwaku was able to achieve the feat of graduating from the University Of Cape Coast (UCC) School of Medical Sciences at 23 due to his early graduation from high school. Upon finishing high school, he immediately earned admission to study medicine at the university.

While in high school, Kwakwu was an active student both with his studies and extracurricular activities. He was a member of the school’s Butler House and served as the President of the House Fellowship.

Kwaku shared his achievement of becoming a doctor at a young age on his Twitter with beautiful pictures stating that he spent Six years in the course of him earning a medical degree.

”Finally Dr. Kwaku Boakye Gyamfi. Six long years finally over, Thank you, God,” he tweeted. The management of his high school took to Facebook to congratulate him on his achievement and celebrate him for upholding their morals.
