Victor Osimhen has reacted to Galatasaray’s hard-fought 4-2 home victory against Antalyalspor.The win sealed a fourth consecutive Turkish Super Lig title for the Yellow and Reds, who top the standings with 77 points, with one game remaining in the campaign.It was the 26th time Galatasaray will be lifting the title.Antalyalspor took the lead twice in the game but were pegged back on both occasions by the hosts.Osimhen played a crucial role in the win, scoring twice to underline his importance to the team.
The 27-year-old has scored 15 league goals for Galatasaray this season.The Nigeria international admitted that their opponent made things difficult for them in the keenly contested encounter.“Antalya made things difficult for us tonight; but we are Galatasaray. We need to overcome these kinds of matches.We go out onto the field to perform well in these kinds of games. We became champions tonight. We are very happy,” Osimhen told the club’s official website.
Okan Buruk’s side will face Kasimpasa in their final game of the season next weekend.
