The Tolu Schools Complex stands as a landmark achievement in the transformation of public education in Lagos, and is widely regarded as the largest school complex in West Africa.

Located in the densely populated Ajegunle community, the facility represents a bold reimagining of what public schools can offer in a modern African city.Developed under the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the project combines large-scale infrastructure with cutting-edge learning facilities, including technology hubs, science laboratories, and vocational training centres.

1. It is located in Ajegunle, Ajeromi-Ifelodun LGA of Lagos.
2. The complex sits on approximately 11.7 hectares of land.
3. It comprises 36 public schools, including 31 secondary and 5 primary schools.
4. The project features a modern ICT and robotics hub to support digital learning.
5. It includes fully equipped science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
6. A vocational skills acquisition centre was built to equip students with practical skills.
7. New classroom blocks were constructed, each containing 18 classrooms.
8. About 24 existing classrooms were renovated to improve learning conditions.
9. The project was delivered under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as part of efforts to modernise education.
10. The school complex was originally established in 1981 during the administration of Lateef Jakande.
