RCCG honours two Ondo varsity first-class graduates

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Goodnews Mega Assembly, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, has celebrated the outstanding academic achievements of two first-class graduates from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.Akinleye Oreoluwa, who graduated with a CGPA of 4.65, and Akpan Sunday, with a CGPA of 4.51, were each presented with cheque gifts of ₦50,000 in recognition of their exceptional performance.Both graduates are from the Department of Business Administration and active members of the church’s Young Adults and Youth Affairs (YAYA), Ondo Province 7. Pastor-in-Charge and Assistant Pastor-in-Charge of the Province, Pastor Olatunde Oladimeji, lauded the graduates for their dedication and commitment to excellence.

He affirmed that the RCCG remains committed to celebrating achievements that inspire young people to pursue distinction in their fields.Recognising excellence motivates the next generation to aim higher and become role models in both the church and society,” Oladimeji said.He stated that under his leadership, the church has consistently honoured first-class graduates who are members of the church with ₦50,000 gifts, reinforcing a long-standing culture of celebrating academic excellence.

Appreciating the church’s efforts, Provincial Youth President of YAYA and lecturer at AAUA, Ogunade Oluwakayode, commended the RCCG for its dedication to nurturing young talent.He emphasised that rewarding academic success encourages graduates and sets a strong example for other youths in the church and the wider community.
