Ms Mandiwanza came to Ireland from Zimbabwe and completed her undergraduate medical degree (MB BCh BAO) at University College Cork in 2005. She subsequently undertook higher surgical training in neurosurgery in Dublin and Cork, earning her FRCSI (Neurosurgery) in 2019.

She went on to complete a prestigious Subspecialty Fellowship in Paediatric Neurosurgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, in 2021, where she gained advanced experience in managing complex neurological conditions in children.Ms Tafadzwa Mandiwanza is a leading Consultant Neurosurgeon at Beacon Hospital.Ms Mandiwanza has expertise across a range of neurosurgical conditions including cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) disorders, neuro-oncology, craniocervical disorders, cranial trauma, and cranial infections.
Ms Mandiwanza’s clinical interests include the management of spinal dysraphism, complex tone disorders (including Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy), hydrocephalus (with a focus on neuroendoscopy for CSF disorders), neuro-oncology, and decompression procedures for craniocervical abnormalities.
