Pa Richard Aderemi Oladejo was a man of great stature, born on January 2, 1940, to Pa Raji Akanji Oladejo and Mama Saadatu Adunni Oladejo of Olokuta compound, Bere Alekuso, Ibadan. His roots traced back to the Owu descendants who settled in Ibadan.

A product of Ibadan Boys Academy, Pa Richard’s academic prowess earned him a Federal Government scholarship to the UK in 1963. He seized the opportunity, studying Business Logistics, Company Management, Consultancy, and Project Management, and later establishing himself as a respected businessman in London.

As a prominent figure in the Nigerian community in the UK, Pa Richard was a trusted reference point for accommodation and served as the Public Relations Officer for Ibadan Descendants Union in the UK and Ireland. His commitment to community service was unwavering.

Returning to Nigeria, Pa Richard established Macomaco Ltd., a successful import and export company. He pioneered European-style shops at Falomo Shopping Centre, Ikoyi, and Abuja airport, leaving an indelible mark on Nigeria’s business landscape.

A devoted family man, Pa Richard’s presence was a blessing to his extended family. He was a vibrant, resilient, and caring individual who celebrated life and took care of his loved ones.

Pa Richard A. Oladejo’s life was a testament to excellence, dedication, and service. His legacy will continue to inspire and motivate future generations.
