Sunteasja Billings, MHS, is a fourth-year medical student at Meharry Medical College, currently applying for a residency in general surgery. ​

She completed her Master of Health Sciences degree at Meharry Medical College, graduating summa cum laude. ​

In 2022, Billings participated in the Stanford-HBMC Research Retreat, where she presented her research titled “A Computational Approach to Making Data F.A.I.R.” Her work was recognized with the People’s Choice Award for outstanding abstract, poster, video, and oral presentation. ​

She has served as the head liaison for the Student National Medical Association’s General Surgery Interest Group for 2024, demonstrating her commitment to mentorship and medical education. ​

In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Billings was honored as Miss School of Medicine at Meharry Medical College, reflecting her peers’ recognition of her leadership and dedication. ​

Recently, she celebrated matching into a general surgery residency program, expressing her gratitude and excitement for the next step in her medical career. ​

Billings maintains an active presence on social media, sharing her journey and insights on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok. ​
